Product Questions

When is a good time to resole your shoes

We recommend sending your shoes in for some new tread around the 400 mile mark. 

What makes HANKS shape different?

Our shoes are all designed with a wider toe-box to mimic the natural shape of the foot and promote optimal foot health.
How does your product fit? - The Bronco 1 fits true to size, a bit of space in front of the toes is recommended. Our knit Upper is designed to break in as you put more miles in.

How many resoles can you get on your products?

For optimal product performance, we recommend resoling your HANKS once. After 500 miles, our midsole foam will naturally begin to lose some of its performance properties. However, you can resole your HANKS as many times as you want after the 500 mile mark and make it your daily walker for as long as you take care of them. 

What other Repair services do you offer? (“Repair a Pair Program”)

We have yet to encounter a job we can’t handle and look forward to that challenge when it happens. Our job is to help you get the most out of your gear so if you need a repair on your pair, send us an email and we’ll send you a return slip.

Do you have an Ambassador Program?

I bought the wrong size, what do I do?
  • Send them back within 45 days and we will exchange the right size for you. Email our support team to get a return slip. 
How should my shoes fit and feel?

First and foremost, they should feel ridiculously comfortable. They should fit like traditional athletic shoes from the heel to the ball of the foot, but your toes should feel like they can move freely (this is a good thing).

All HANKS shoes are proudly made in the USA with a local network of footwear badasses. 

What is so sustainable about your products?

At HANKS, we believe one of the most sustainable things we can do is make our products last longer. That is why we offer resoling on every pair of shoes we make. But to take it a step further, we’ve designed our products from the start to be easily recycled when their working lifespan has come to an end. Send us back your worn out shoes and we’ll find them a new home!

What are your shoes best for?

We like to say The Bronco 1 is designed to be your go to distance training shoe. With our cushioned midsole technology, we made sure you can go from a casual 5k, to a full marathon in comfort and style. But it doesn't need to end there. Heck, bring them to the grocery store, a concert, a rec football league, yoga, the beach, just do you in them

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.

Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to exchange for a preferred style or return for a refund. As a reminder, domestic return shipping is free.

What is your warranty policy?

What’s not covered?
The following are NOT covered by the HANKS warranty policy:
- Damages due to Activities
- Color fade
- Intentional Cuts, scratches, burns, etc.
- Damage caused by negligence, misuse or alteration of products
